While recording a live show @ Simon's in Pawtucket, RI in 1980, and as a result of our rank amatuerism, the tape twisted as the reel-to-reel started recording the first song and created an unholy mess of the song (an un-released/un-recorded song called Domestic Affairs). I saved the tape thinking those sounds would make a great intro to a song. While recording/mixing Soma it was pressed into service.................a little splicing by super engineer/producer LOU GIORDANO and voila...................................................
